to kick it off, one of my favorite videos- cocorosie's "Lemonade"
The surreality of the video comes across from the two viewpoints: one pleasant and the other of sadness and despair, almost longing- the stark montages flitting between the viewpoints of the older women and the bright imagery associated with the younger children: along with the lingering shots of the animals create a mix of a magical, surreal yet disturbing imagery of reminiscing one's childhood
